  • Rana Ayazi

    MANAGING ATTORNEY

    Prior to founding Ayazi Abney APC, Rana represented Fortune 500 companies in a wide range of employment law matters at Greenberg Traurig, LLP (one of the largest law firms in the world with over $2 billion in revenue and 2,200 attorneys), Payne & Fears, LLP (a regional law firm specializing in employment law), and Miller Barondess, LLP (a high-stakes litigation law firm).

    Rana has also served as a judicial law clerk at the Los Angeles Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where she wrote hearing decisions and grants and denials of motions for federal sector employment claims, and has been recognized by various publications for her work with Yale Law School’s Worker and Immigrant Rights Advocacy Clinic.

    She graduated with the highest honors (college honors) and latin honors from UCLA.  She then graduated from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was awarded the Robert S. Feldman Employment and Labor Award, granted to the graduating student most proficient in labor and employment law.

  • Devin Abney

    ATTORNEY

    Prior to joining Ayazi Abney APC, Devin was a corporate attorney at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP (a global law firm recognized by the Financial Times as the second most innovative firm in the world) and Dorsey & Whitney LLP (a global firm representing more than one-third of Fortune 100 companies), where he represented public companies in complex securities offerings and other corporate transactions.

    He graduated with honors from both Willamette University and the University of Michigan Law School. At Michigan, he served as the research assistant to Professor Cindy Schipani in the Roth School of Business, with whom he co-authored an academic article on overcoming gender discrimination in business published in the University of Pennsylvania Journal Business Law. At Willamette, he was a member of the varsity tennis team and Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team.
